About Micael-Renee’ Lifestyle Portraiture

Michael is one of only 104 accomplished photographers worldwide to be awarded the prestigious Fellowship by the American Society of Photographers.

Based out of Nashville Tennessee,Michael considers photography an art form as evidenced by the beautiful portraits he has created for families over the past 30 years. Each portrait captures the essence of the individual or family in a unique way, telling a story of their lifestyle.

Since earning his Master of Photography degree in 1992,Michael has continued to be recognized in the profession with numerous

awards and fortunate enough to have the privilege of photographing many celebrities such as Cary Grant, Burt Reynold, Reba McIntyre,

Jay Leno, Reese Witherspoon and Jerry Seinfeld to name just a few.

In seeking to express his philosophy of photography, he says, “ I feel that one’s philosophy is less defined by words and more defined by their art. It is how we touch the lives of those we meet  day to day…how we view our world and contribute back to it. In that way our true philosophy is reflected in the portraits we create.”
